Compaq Computer Corp.—now Hewlett Packard—is a leading provider of technology solutions for consumers and businesses worldwide. They needed multimedia Web-based product demonstrations for two of their business units: server products and storage services.

This entailed several projects for Compaq: working directly both for their product managers in the server and communications groups.

They selected Bravo Zulu for their strong multimedia capabilities, sound project management practices and reputation for quality.

For their server group, our Flash™ demos supplemented the Compaq website. Altogether, we created three disparate product demonstrations for the server group—performing both the design and production.

Each of these multimedia tours gave an attractive front and back view of the product, and let users look inside at the server components—providing technical specs for each one. They also gave performance and service attributes. The design was attractive and supportive of the Compaq brand.

For their communications group, we acted as part of a project team to promote their outsourced storage services. The overall project was a large piece of print collateral; our part was to provide the business-card shaped multimedia CD accompanying it. The end product was engaging and informative, doing an excellent job of supporting their storage sales efforts.

In all, we created four technically and aesthetically superb Flash™ tutorials on how to use their Internet.
