In the Spring of 2000, a consortium of the largest utilities formed to address changes in the marketplace such as increasing demand, deregulation, and the changing role of technology technology in supply chain operations.
They ultimately hired consultants who set forth to form a company that would benefit both utility buyers and suppliers. That, summer the group, along with some additional industry players, creating Pantellos—an organization dedicated to helping customers minimize costs, maximize service and efficiency, and improve business results by offering deep industry and supply chain expertise, a broad suite of supply chain services, an active trading community and leading-edge technologies.
With such a progressive business model, they needed to promote the company’s launch. That’s where we came in!
We supported the Pantellos launch with both print and multimedia promotions that were informative and compelling. These pieces included posters, new member kits, e-mail marketing and Flash™ animation for their website.
They informed potential customers, media and the general industries Pantellos would serve of the purpose of the organization, as well as promoting the collaborative spirit of supply chain efficiency in which they would operate.
The posters carried a "music of the spheres" theme, delivering the concept of an idea whose time has come. They gave the website URL, logo and tagline, generating buzz within many facets of the utility industry. The new member kit gave information on aspects of the business such as support, membership services.
The Flash™ promo promotes Pantellos’ business model through the three key themes of collaboration, commerce and community. It explains how these three aspects interacted within the organization’s services, strategy and user benefits, as well as stating the organization’s mission and vision.
