How to get the help you need.

CreativeX, with it's intuitive interface and straight-forward design, is so easy to use we have yet to include an online help system. However, we offer a number of resources to help you solve any problems you might encounter when using the system. The Known Issues, below, and the FAQs page contain ready answers to many common pre-purchase and technical questions.

Telephone and email "how-to" support is available for at $75 per incident. Response time, when not immediate, is usually less than four hours. Please see your User's Agreement for details.

SAM 1.2 Known Issues

A while back, I made a client "Inactive". Now I can't find a way to make him "Active" again.

Oops. Not so much a "bug" as it is a good old-fashioned  "oversight", the ability to bring back clients will be included in the next update. In the meantime, don't inactivate a client unless you're absolutely certain you won't be doing any work for them anytime soon. Inactive clients, and all of their jobs, are not deleted. You'll be able to bring "Inactive" clients and their jobs back as soon as we introduce the control to do so in the next update.

The Project list on the far left sometimes changes when I navigate to an interior page, like the Creative Review.

The Project List will be more persistant in the next update.

What's the difference between a "Document Board" and a "Document Archive"?

None. The two terms are synonymous and sometimes used interchangeably in the interface and the documentation. We'll clean this up on the next release.

The CD-Rom Archive tool only works on Mac OS 9.

This important tool will be rewritten to support all major platforms, including Windows and Mac OSX in the next major upgrade.

I'm trying to delete a project. A confirmation screen appears asking if I'm sure I want to delete the project. Regardless of whether I answer yes or no, I get an error. I cannot delete my project.

The next update will fix this bug and allow you to manage your server space more effectively.
